Vihinsa Thejan Bandara is the visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vihi IT Solutions, a dynamic tech company empowering businesses with innovative digital products and services. With a strong foundation in full-stack software engineering and a passion for driving digital transformation, Thejan leads the company’s mission to build scalable, user-centric technology solutions that fuel growth and efficiency. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology (Software Engineering) from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and brings a blend of technical excellence and strategic leadership to every project. Prior to founding Vihi IT Solutions in 2023, Thejan gained hands-on industry experience, including a pivotal role as a Software Engineer Intern at the Bank of Ceylon, where he led the development lifecycle of enterprise-grade systems. A skilled full-stack developer proficient in technologies such as Java, MERN Stack, Flutter, and Spring Boot, Thejan is also a certified Scrum Master, enabling him to guide teams efficiently and deliver high-impact solutions. His entrepreneurial drive has been recognized through competition achievements—such as being a finalist in major hackathons—and through professional certifications in AWS, MongoDB, and API development. Beyond his technical and business accomplishments, Thejan is committed to nurturing the next generation of tech talent, having served in leadership and community roles, including as an activity treasurer at the LEO Club of SLIIT. Under his leadership, Vihi IT Solutions continues to grow as a trusted partner for digital innovation across industries.
